Aloha Volunteers,
I have posted a photo of our shirt below. We will be using the same 2024 "Bright Blue" areca palm print shirt as last year. Hats: all MEC styles from previous years are acceptable for this year.
Shirt and Hat sales will be on the following dates:
- Saturday, January 11th - 10am to 3pm at the Volunteer Center in Hualalai Resort.
- Tues & Wed, January 14th & 15th (Pro-Am days) - 6:30am to 2pm at the Volunteer Center in Hualalai Resort.
- Thu, Fri, & Sat, January 16th-18th (Tournament days) - 9am to 2pm at the Volunteer Center in Hualalai Resort.
Items will be available and can be picked up before your shift.
Who needs to pick up Shirts & Hats?
Volunteers interacting or visible to Spectators on the course need to wear our shirt and hat. If picking up the day of your assignment, please arrive early before your shift.
What is the Cost?
The cost of a shirt is $30. The baseball caps or visors are $15. Wide brim sun hats are available for $30. We will accept credit cards, cash, or checks.
Just so you know - all items are sold at cost.
Where do the early sales take place?
The Volunteer Center in Hualalai Resort (Google Map Link: https://goo.gl/maps/Zs3W8GehPpxdQfnA9 ) To locate our Volunteer Center, turn makai (towards the ocean) off Queen Kaahumanu Highway into the Four Seasons Hualalai Resort. For the sale Saturday prior to the event, proceed to the guard shack at the entrance to Hualalai Resort and if your phone map isn't working - ask for directions. During the tournament (Tuesday- Saturday) there will be signage directing you to Volunteer Center and Parking via the old "Kona Village Resort" access road. This road will take you to a back entrance of the resort with signs directing you to Volunteer Center/Parking. If there is any confusion or questions, please ask the guard at the entrance.
